At this stage we run two programmes designed for 5 to 14 year olds. We designed these programmes with working parents in mind who have to work normal hours through to 5 or 5:30pm and can't be there for their kids until after work hours. These programmes are a great way to make sure your children are entertained and cared for by a quality programme and quality people. After School Programme
We run a fantastic after school programme designed to provide your children with quality care and entertainment in a safe and caring environment, incorporating fun activities along with educational aids designed to foster your child’s learning abilities. We can also offer a pick up service from local schools to the programme. Our After School Programme runs during school terms on normal school days (unavailable during standard public holidays).
When: Mon to Fri, 3:00pm - 5:30pm (unless notified)

Holiday Programme
Our Holiday Programme is a full featured, action packed programme, providing fully supervised entertainment, exciting excursions, a healthy lunch and refreshments. The Holiday Programme incorporates activities designed to challenge your child and to nurture their natural desire to achieve. Our Holiday Programme runs between school terms in the normally scheduled school holidays (unavailable during standard public holidays).

Please note, in order to retain your child’s enrolment with us, these fees are payable whether or not your child attends every day. Refunds are not available, i.e. your child is away Mon, Tues, and attends Weds, Thurs, Fri, your invoice will still be $47.15 (for one child enrolled in the After School Programme) for that week. We endeavor to set fees at a very minimal cost so that all families and whanau can afford it, but we do expect that you keep up to date with these costs. Payment of Fees Fees can be paid either directly to the coordinator of the programme or to the office. Alternatively, fees may be paid by AP or Internet Banking, these last two methods are preferred by The Depot (Nelson) Trust. Fee Subsidy A fee subsidy is available through Work & Income NZ and the OSCAR Foundation for those who qualify for entitlement. For more information about the fee subsidy, visit the Work and Income website and/or the OSCAR Foundation website. At this stage a full subsidy is $3.77per hour. If your child is enrolled in the After School Programme this would consist of 2.5 hours per day or 12.5 hours per week, bringing a full subsidy total of $47.15 which would fully cover your fees. The Holiday programme runs for 8.5 hours per day, 5 days a week, for a total of 42.5 hours. Bringing a full subsidy total of $160.25 again fully covering your fees for the programme. Some parents may qualify for a partial subsidy covering a portion of the total programme fees. Non Payment/Overdue Fees In circumstances where fees are overdue we may request that payments be made by AP only and if there is still the occurrence of missed payments then we reserve the right to revoke the child/childrens enrolments. Also any unpaid amounts will be sought for by debt collection agency and all costs thereof will be added to the unpaid amount.
